Quick reply or Reply


We can reply to the customer response in different ways from Salesforce.

  • Quick Reply (without template)
  • Reply (With or without template)

 

Option 1 (Classic): Quick reply from the Classic “Home screen”

If you are using Classic, you can find SMS Inbox home screen component in the left side panel of the home screen.

 

How to setup SMS Inbox on classic home screen? 

Salesforce > Setup > Customize > Home Screen layout > Select the one which you want to edit > select “SMS Inbox” on “Select narrow component to show” section > Next > Define potion of SMS Inbox > Save

Just click on “quick reply” command link, write content and click on submit button

As shown in the above image just click on “quick reply”, write text and do submit button.

If you change your mind and don’t want to reply and close the window, Just click on “Send quick reply” button without content on the box.

You can use “reply” command link to use Template to send reply SMS.

 

Option 1 (Lightning): Quick reply from the Lightning “Home Screen”

If you are using lightning, you can find SMS Inbox panel on the right side panel of the home screen

How to setup SMS Inbox on Lightning home screen?

Login to Salesforce > go to home >

Just click on “quick reply” command link write content and click on submit button

Option 2: Quick reply from SMS Inbox

Login to Salesforce > Value Text SMS from App menu > SMS Inbox > open the appropriate inbox to send reply to text messages

Write the reply content at “Quick Reply” text area and save it. That’s all to send SMS
