How can I contact you?

You can send us an email at sales@valuetext.io or if you have any technical questions to support@valuetext.io. For production issues go to our website and click the “Online” bar on the bottom right of your screen to start a chat with a live agent directly (24/7 availability)



How soon can I expect a response from you?

If you send as an email from 2-6 working hours, but keep in mind that this might be slightly longer if we are in a totally different time zone. However, we have 24/7 support available where our agents will be back to you in 5 minutes time.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay via bank transfer or use a payment link.


Technical Questions


Can we bring our own phone number?

Yes, you can bring your own phone number. For WhatsApp countries supported, for SMS you can bring your USA or Canada numbers. For all other countries you can purchase the phone number from us.

Can we purchase a phone number from ValueText?

Yes, you can do that and it can have the prefix that you need as well. 



Can we use only one phone number for all of our users?

Yes, you can have one phone number to share through your whole team.

Can we have multiple numbers?

Sure. A common use cases is that a company would have 1 phone number for their customer support team and a phone number for each sales rep so they can represent themselves.



Can we text from a phone?

Yes, you can download the Salesforce 1 App where ValueText is fully supported.

Will I be notified if someone sends me a text but I’m logged out of Salesforce?

You can enable email notifications. This way you will always know when someone send you a text. Also, the email will contain a link which will straight away take you to the Salesforce page to respond to your customer or you can reply from your email which will be sent as an SMS automatically (email to SMS)



Can we have our brand name displayed as the from address?

Yes, when you use WhatsApp you can use your brand name as the from address. This way people will see for example “ValueText” instead of a 10-digit number.

What support do you provide?

ValueText is the only texting app that has 24/7 support where our agents will get back to you in 5 minutes time. Also, we take care of the whole process of getting your phone number approval and setting up everything in your org at 0 cost



Do you have file/document scanner?

we don’t have a default virus scanning. However, we have a custom solution that will scan your files for viruses, and this will come under additional cost.

Do you have a Black Listing functionality?

Your customers can opt out at any point. If you want to remove someone and STOP receiving messages from them you can mark them as spam. However, if they opted out but want to opt in again they simply have to type “START” or you can use another keyword that might be more effective for you.



Do you have a URL shortener?

ValueText doesn’t provide you with a URL shortener. However, you can bring your own and we can implement it like bitly.

How is our data stored?

All of your data will be stored directly in Salesforce. ValueText DOES NOT store any data. 



Do you have a Data Masking system?

We have a data masking system that will mask card numbers or any information that you would not like to be visible in the chat.

What is the maximum character size for SMS & WhatsApp

The maximum character size for an SMS & WhatsApp is 1600 characters or 1600 bites, and there is no character restrictions on our side.



Is ValueText Salesforce Native?

ValueText is a 100% Salesforce native application.

Has your software ever been hacked?

ValueText is live for almost a decade and our software has never been hacked!



Has your server ever been down?

Our up time is 99%. However, ValueText has 2 different architectures to ensure that our customers don’t experience any downtime. The 1st one is when you send a message it goes to the ValueText server and then to the receiver. The 2nd one is when you send a message it will go directly to the service provider and then to your customer. The 2nd option reduces the downtime even more as the service providers rarely have any downtime. 

How difficult is to setup ValueText in our org?

ValueText is pretty easy and straightforward to set up. However, some of the functionalities like automation and chatbots need a little training. When you subscribe to ValueText you have an unlimited amount of training. This means that you can book a call with our team and they would help you set up anything. Also, there are a lot of setup documents on our website that you can use for the majority of use cases.



Do you have URL expiration functionality?

ValueText has default URL expiration which will allow you to set a time in which the receiver can open the URL after this time it will become invalid.

Do you have file restriction functionality?

You can set up file restrictions. For example, if you want to receive only PDF and WORD files you can restrict all other files. This means that when the customer sends you an Excel file the system would automatically sends a message that this file is not supported.



Can you respond from an email to SMS?

ValueText allows you to send an email but be received as an SMS on your customer’s phone. Also, you can enable email notifications when you receive a message.

How can we organize our templates?

With ValueText you can use folders to organize your templates.



Do you have a one view window?

ValueText provides you with a functionality to see all the messages in one window which is similar to your email inbox the functionality is called “Converse View”.

How do you manage time zones?

When sending a message, you can schedule it and set up a specific time zone. Also, you can set up your business hours based on the time zone that you are in.



Do you have Drip Campaigns?

By default, ValueText doesn’t have a drip campaign. However, you can send bulk texts and text campaigns which can be scheduled. Also, you can set up a drip campaign by using Process Builder. This means that a message will be executed when specific criterion is met.

Is there a limit when sending a Bulk Text?

There is no limit on the number of people you want to send a message to, you can also send 100,000 messages with one click.



Do you provide functionality to pull information from costumed fields?

You can use merge fields or automation which will allow you to pull information from any field in Salesforce.
