Message Console Bar

The Message Console Bar displays the latest messages along with timestamps. To incorporate the “Message Console Bar” into your record page, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Click on “Setup,” as illustrated in the accompanying image.
  2. Select “Edit Page” from the options presented in the image.


  1. Search for “VtLatestMessageBar” and add it to the record page at the desired location.
  2. Once the component is in place, click on “Save.”


  1. You will now find the Message Console Bar on the record page.
  2. Clicking “Mark as Read” indicates that the user has read the message.
  3. Selecting “Refresh” will refresh the component.
  4. Clicking “Open Chat” will open the Mini Chat Console.

  1. Explore all conversations between the sender and the recipient.
  2. Click on “Close Chat” to close the Mini Chat Console.
